Or should I say greetings from mother Russia, let me introduce you to my dear Nikolai Dima Statnik, Kolai if you don't mind. A rather recent addition to the circus, and the country as a whole, Nikolai has quite a bit to learn, though he is by no means naive to his new life, he's been hardened by years of hard work, both physically and mentally, and is exceptionally sure of himself. Though he is not very bright (his Russian is C+ material and his English is even worse), he is clever and a fast learner (as long as there is no reading involved), he can complete a task and is as stubborn as a mule, he has never needed anyone's help and he never intends to. He is not afraid of a hard days work and is most often found covered in sweat and blood, but that's just who he is.
Outside of work though, he is a hot mess, he can drink anyone under the table and he has more bookies than friends in his phone book, he hardly sleeps and knows how to have a good time, especially when no one is watching. His friendships aren't deep nor rewarding, and he has problems getting very close to people, and not just because of the language barrier but that's not something he'd care to talk about. Love? Ha, he doesn't know the meaning of the word, sure he's thought he'd fallen in love before, some farm girl with a rebellious attitude, or a flight attendant with hearty stash of prescriptions, but that was short lived, and he's much more interested in sex than love. Enemies aren't something Kolai has the time, energy, or wit to keep, though he has been known to hate people, and hold silent, death grip grudges, and on occasion (okay, maybe more than occasion) get into rough and tumble, all out brawls.

Stella && Nikolai
I'm thinking kind of a comedy type deal. Nikolai and Stella not understanding eachother one bit because they both speak different languages and then when they speak english they have to have of accents to understand eachother? Something were they are casual friends, they know eachother from work and go out for drinks, just to keep eachother company, but nothing deep.
Add? Subtract? Delete?

Molly would love to try and drink Nikolai under the table, feeling like drinking is in her blood. Being Irish, it kinda is. Anyway, I can see him flirting with her trying to get in her knickers but i can also see her putting him in his place. She's not that easy, boyo. Sorry.

Kolai and Alex
Okay, so for these two, I can totally see them being best buddies. They would have a decent bit of interaction considering Alex is the vet to Kolai's animal trainer. Alex would adore him as long as he treats the animals decently. Alex would be more than happy to go out and party with him. He'd probably be a bit leery of some of Kolai's crazier habits, and maybe try to warn him against some things. But for the most part, Alex is pretty laid back and out of your business. He'll stand up for Kolai in a second if he gets in trouble, and be right beside him in any fight that he gets into. He'll have Kolai's back no matter what. I can totally see these two chilling out and messing around, drinking and partying together.
Kolai and Analiese
So for Kolai and Analiese, I can see her being a bit terrified of him. They would have a bit of interaction considering Analiese loves to hang around the animals. But Analiese is a very reserved person, and I can see her being a little disapproving of Kolai. She would get really nervous around him too, most likely, because of his reputation. I can see him kind of torturing her a bit, trying to make her uncomfortable. She would be nervous at first, but stand up to him after a bit. I'm not sure where it would go from there.

Aye, comedy it is! She's a burlesque dancer, so he would have quite a good time with her, and with both of them speaking such little English, conversations should be fun (especially after a few drinks). And maybe a certain amount of totally noncommittal, sloppy, drunken "romance".

Kolai will drink to that! Well he drink to anything, but a brassy Irish lass is a lovely find for him. Don't worry about him hitting on her though, even if he does find that whole gothic plague rat look incredibly sexy, he's not up for a challenge, he's a lazy boyo when it comes to "love".

Alex may have to teach Kolai a little about animal cruelty (shit's different in Mother Russia!), but once we get past all that they could be good ol' buddies. I imagine them sitting around like lazy bums, drinking on an off day, tossing peanuts, playing drinking games, and daring each other to to retardedly dangerous things.

He would love to torture her, since she's such a pretty little girl, and he would be a show off to her and try to impress her with his animal trainees, and of course say horribly dirty things to her in Russian while attempting to very innocently get into her pants.

Oh Alex will have no problems setting Kolai straight on a couple things where animals are concerned. But after that, yes!!! I can totally see it! ^-^
